Tamagotchi Connection is the very popular virtual pet brought to us by Bandai. It's been around for quite a few years, and every year, it's popularity keeps growing. I've followed the Tamagotchi over the last few years, and it's pretty interesting to see how it has changed! Take a look at the review of a very early version of the Tamagotchi.

On to the latest version of Tamagotchi, the Tamagotchi V4. The new and improved Tamagotchi V4 is even more technologically advanced than before. The players can control the future of their virtual pets by playing mini games and going to school. By doing so, players earn virtual Skill Points, which can be used to choose a "fun" job like a rock star, doctor, fashion designer and much more. Players can earn Skill Points in various categories like Beauty, Intelligence and Social.

"Gotchi Posts" are something new in the Tamagotchi V4. Your virtual pet will receive messages which contain good and bad fortunes, letters and news throughout it's life span.

Tamagotchi Town has been given a makeover too. You can see your virtual pet interacting with others, going to work and playing games on the interactive website. You can even use your Gotchi Points to watch a movie, eat your favorite snack or shop at the malls, or better yet - meet the Tamagotchi King!

The infrared connection technology which wires units together is very much active. Earlier versions of the Tamagotchi can also connect to each other and to the Tamagotchi Version 4. You can exchange gifts, play games together and become friends. You can also store information on upto 45 friends in the new Tamagotchi V4.
